‘Sunset on Saganaga I‘ was sold during an online auction benefiting the Gunflint Trail Volunteer Fire Department in July 2023.
The piece was inspired by the deep purple and magenta sunset in the reference photo below and all of the awe-inspiring sunsets I’ve witnessed on Saganaga Lake at the end of the Gunflint Trail.
